A Message from Pastor Gary Kuzins
Hello Parents,
We’re so excited about summer camp, and we want to keep you informed about upcoming fundraisers and opportunities for your child to earn money toward their camp costs. Below is a list of our planned fundraisers. We will have a sign-up sheet available for students to get involved, and some fundraisers will be first-come, first-serve. Our biggest fundraiser is Lavender Fest, and we’ll need everyone’s help to make it a success!
Fundraiser Schedule:
- March 29 (Saturday): Car Wash @ Security State Bank Blanco 12:30 to 3:30pm
- April 6 Sunday: To-Go Plate Fundraiser @ FBC Fellowship Hall 9:45am - 1pm
- April 26 (Saturday) Car Wash @ Security State Bank Blanco 12:30 to 3:30pm
- May 10 (Saturday): Car Wash @ Security State Bank Blanco 10 am to 3:30pm morning shift or afternoon
- May 18 Sunday: To-Go Plate Fundraiser @ FBC Fellowship Hall 945am - 1pm
June 6-8 is LAVENDER FEST!!! -This is our biggest fundraiser, and we need everyone’s help to make it a success! There will be 3 shifts each day across 5 locations.
Parent participation is essential at the festival, and your volunteer hours will directly count toward your student’s camp costs.
Lavender Fest Shift Schedule:
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Raffle Fundraiser – Donations Needed!
We are also holding a raffle, with the final drawing taking place at Lavender Fest. We’re currently looking for donated gifts.
So far, we’ve received:
- An iPad
- A fire pit
- Grill and cover
- A steak dinner for 6
- A photography session with Snap Fox Media
If you would like to donate gifts for the raffle, please reach out to Gary. Every donation helps make this a great opportunity for our students!
