Youth Fundraisers

Hello Parents,

We’re so excited about summer camp and wanted to keep you in the loop on upcoming fundraisers and ways your student can earn money toward their camp cost. Below is our current fundraiser schedule. Some opportunities will be first-come, first-served, so we encourage students to get involved early!

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is Lavender Fest, and we’ll need everyone’s help to make it a success.

Fundraiser Schedule:

  • March 29 (Sunday): To-Go Plate Fundraiser (BBQ Chicken) – Immediately following 11 AM service

  • April 19 (Saturday): Pre-Sale Plate Fundraiser (BBQ Chicken Pick-Up) – 12:00 PM–4:30 PM (parking lot pick-up only)

  • May 3 (Sunday): To-Go Plate Fundraiser (BBQ Chicken) – Immediately following 11 AM service

June 5–7: LAVENDER FEST
This is our biggest fundraiser, and we need everyone involved to make it successful! Students will have multiple opportunities to serve throughout the weekend.

Parent participation is a huge part of this event, and your volunteer hours will directly contribute toward your student’s camp balance.

To-Go Plate Fundraiser

Let's Cook Up Some Funds!

We’re putting together a student team to help with our To-Go Plate Fundraiser, and we need at least 10 volunteers! If you're raising money for camp, this is your chance to help out and earn your way. Both will be @ FBC Fellowship Hall.

We need:
👨‍🍳 Kitchen helpers
🚪 Door greeters
🏃‍♂️ Food runners

Lavender Fest Parking Fundraiser

June 5–7

All volunteers, for every shift, will report to the 2nd Mile Rec Center. Jonathan will assign your location from there. Be on time and ready to roll. Bring what you need to stay fueled and focused—water bottle, snacks, lunch, a folding chair, and a sun umbrella will go a long way in keeping you energized and comfortable. Jonathan will have a shade tent at each location and refill stations for water bottles. Let’s do this right!

IMPORTANT: If a slot appears filled and it is the only time you can work, please contact Jonathan at (409) 363-9725 or just show up to the 2nd Mile Rec Center and he will make arrangements for you!
