Jonathan Weldon has been the Youth Pastor at FBC Blanco since May 2025. Before joining our staff, Jonathan has served at several churches across Texas and one in Louisiana during his 15+ years of Youth Ministry. He received a B.A. in Religion at Baylor University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with concentrations in Student Ministry and Biblical Languages.

Jonathan is a native of Orange, Texas, and is happily married to Abby Weldon. They are the proud parents of two wonderful children–Ella (daughter) and Beau (son). Abby currently serves as the Worship Leader at FBC Blanco, so it has been great to have them serve alongside one another on the staff here.

If Jonathan has any free time, he enjoys playing disc golf, normal golf, going to school sporting events and other extra-curricular activities, watching sports (especially his beloved Houston Astros), collecting coins and bills, and hanging out with family!
