Michael moved to Blanco in 1992 after his father retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. He has been attending First Baptist Blanco since that year and became a member in 1995 after his baptism. Amanda has been a member of FBC since childhood. They were happily married at FBC Blanco in 2002 and have two wonderful children, Trent and Avery. Michael joined the deacon team in 2018. He is employed by Security State Bank and Trust in Blanco and has been in the banking industry for 22 years. Amanda works with her parents at the world-famous Buggy Barn Museum. They enjoy supporting their son at Texas Tech University and their daughter at Blanco High School.

Bill Lane and his wife, Marci, moved from the Houston area to Spring Branch in 2017 and joined FBC Blanco in 2021. He is a retired engineering executive from the oil industry. Bill committed his life to Christ as a 37 year old adult in 1986. Since that time, he has led adult and children’s Bible studies and church home groups. Before moving to Spring Branch, Bill was an elder at The Church at Alden Bridge (Baptist) in The Woodlands, Texas. Currently Bill chairs the Transition Team and Long-Range Planning Committee at FBC Blanco. Marci and Bill lead TeamKIDs on Wednesday evenings and taught Community English Class together. They have four children and five grandchildren living in Austin and Houston.
